Granting Pink

Directly benefits local breast cancer survivors (thrivers). Funds are provided for medical costs and quality of life associated costs not covered by insurance.

Eligibility

Applicants must be an individual diagnosed with breast cancer, either treated in past or undergoing treatment, as verified by a health care provider and/or social worker.  The recipient must reside in or be treated in Davis. Individuals can apply or you can nominate someone by applying on their behalf.

Funding

Funding requests should not exceed $1,000.

In addition to the financial support, Thriving Pink will give each recipient the book, “PINK TIPS”, by Ann Murray Paige, and a Positivity Bracelet.

Application Timeline

October – January Applications available and can be submitted
February  Committee reviews all applications
By Valentine’s Day
Recipients are notified & funds are provided
